(WMS) - Seals: Berths in the Schleswig-Holstein Wadden Sea from 1989 (LKN.SH - NPV)

Description

Representation geospatial service for the occurrence of seals at berths in the area of the Schleswig-Holstein Wadden Sea National Park. These are data from comprehensive aircraft-based surveys from 1989 onwards from seasons relevant to seals: As a rule, three survey flights are carried out per year at the time of the litter (May - July) and two at the time of the hair change (August - September). This service provides the following information: Numbers of seals per berth per flight, proportion of juveniles. The following layers / tables are included: 1. Overall table with all monitoring flights from 1989 2. Tables split by individual years (from 2015 onwards). An annual layer contains the data of all five collections. 3. Overall table with the proportions of young animals (only data from the three flights from the littering period) In the case of comprehensive aeroplane-based surveys, all counted individual animals or groups are assigned a precise coordinate, which is defined as a berth. If possible, a distinction is made between adult and juvenile animals. For inventory calculations, the data can be filtered by individual acquisition flights.
