Description of the INSPIRE Download Service (predefined Atom): Conflicts with bird protection play a particularly important role in the use of wind energy, so that this aspect should be taken into account as precisely as possible when determining potential areas. In this study, the nature conservation landscape was used to depict the occurrence of birds. Bird sanctuaries were categorically excluded, regardless of whether wind-energy-sensitive bird species occur in the area or not.
