Description
The Umbria Region, with REGIONAL LAW no. 28 of 19 November 2001 "Consolidated Regional Law for Forests", has established the list of trees of significant and particular interest:
‘Trees of significant and particular interest, in relation to their cultural, historical, aesthetic, landscape, scientific and monumental value, irrespective of the species referred to in paragraph 1, shall be indicated in a specific list established by the Regional Executive’.
Given the considerable informative wealth of the census and its cultural and environmental value, it is the intention of the Umbria Region to make it known to the greatest possible number of citizens.
