Soil Estimation Classmark 1:10000
Description
The resource contains information from the class character of the digitised class surfaces (soil type standard class characters, usage, substrate formation) of the soil estimate. A description of the class areas is provided by the class mark, separated for arable land and grassland. The class mark is a complex abbreviation consisting of information on soil species (area 9/grassland 5 units), types of origin (farm 4 units), state level (area 7/grassland 3 levels) as well as in grassland climate and water levels.
The soil type according to standard class mark (BOARTSTDKL) indicates the soil estimate of the soil type of the layers from 0 to about 100 cm below the top of the terrain. The designated soil types include:
S – sand,
SL (also S/lS) – Leamy sand
LS – loamy sand
SL (also lS/sL) – heavily loamy sand
SL – sandy clay
L – clay
LT – heavy clay
T – sound
Mo – Moor.
The type of land use of agricultural land at the time of land estimation, arable land, grassland or moor is evaluated under land use type KLZ (KLZ_NUTZ).
In ‘Substrate formation evaluated’ (HERKUNFT_A), the data of the soil estimate for the geological formation of the layers from 0 to approx. 100 cm below the top of the terrain are shown:
Mo: Moore
Al: Aluvial soils, holocene swampland soils, younger deposits in lowlands and floodplains
D: Diluvial soils, pleistocene substrates, deposits of cold times
Lö: Loess, Aeolian deposit of cold times
V: Solid rock weathering soils of Paleozoic or Mesozoic parent rocks without rearrangement
g: Supplement for stone/skeleton-rich soils
Combinations such as LöAl or DLö are superpositions of layers of different genesis.
