Certification of 2019 State Accounts
Description
The Court of Auditors publishes the act of certification of the State’s accounts, drawn up each year in accordance with Article 58 of the Organic Law on Finance Laws (LOLF). The Court certifies that, in the light of the accounting rules and principles applicable to it, the general account of the State for the financial year 2019, adopted on 16 April 2020, is regular and sincere, and gives a true and fair view of the financial position and assets of the State, subject to four substantial reservations. The state’s net position stood at EUR -1 370 billion at the end of 2019.
