Transfers of COVID-19 patients
Description
### Context
To respond to the health crisis and the energising of the French health system, the government has been operating since March 18, 2020 patient transfers between hospitals. The aim of this scheme is to remove congestion among the institutions most affected by the COVID-19 outbreak.
### Mode of publication
As part of the development of the [COVID-19 scoreboard available on the government website](https://www.gouvernement.fr/info-coronavirus/carte-et-donnees), the Ministry of Solidarity and Health communicates to Etalab the patient transfer data. These data are integrated into the dashboard and published on www.data.gouv.fr.
### Description of the dataset
This dataset provides information on **transfers of COVID-19 patients**. It contains:
— the start date of the transfer;
— the end date of the transfer;
— the means of transport used;
— the region of departure;
— the region of arrival;
— the country of arrival if the transfer takes place outside French territory;
— the number of patients transported.
The data is updated on a daily basis.
