Data on the solidarity fund set up in the context of the COVID-19 outbreak

### The Solidarity Fund In the context of the COVID-19 outbreak, the State has set up, together with the Regions, a solidarity fund with EUR 1.7 billion for March 2020 that will allow the payment of tax relief of up to EUR 1.500 to smaller businesses, self-employed, micro-entrepreneurs and liberal professions affected by the coronavirus crisis. This fund will be maintained as long as the health emergency lasts. For further information on the Solidarity Fund, please visit the information page available at https://www.impots.gouv.fr/portail/. ### The Business Aid Scoreboard In order to offer visibility to all French people on the allocation of aid paid to companies under this solidarity fund, the Minister for Action and Public Accounts, with the technical support of the department [Etalab](https://www.data.gouv.fr/fr/organizations/etalab/) of the [Inter-Ministerial Directorate of Digital (DINUM)](https://www.data.gouv.fr/fr/organizations/direction-interministerielle-du-numerique/), make available a [scoreboard](https://github.com/etalab/dashboard-aides-entreprises) of which [source code](https://github.com/etalab/dashboard-aides-entreprises) is free which proposes a consolidated vision of the State’s support to companies. ### Description of the data This dataset contains the data presented on [the Solidarity Fund tab of the dashboard](https://aides-entreprises.data.gouv.fr/). These data are derived from: — The [SIRENE base of enterprises and their establishments](https://www.data.gouv.fr/fr/datasets/base-sirene-des-entreprises-et-de-leurs-etablissements-siren-siret/) of the [INSEE](https://www.data.gouv.fr/fr/organizations/institut-national-de-la-statistique-et-des-etudes-economiques-insee/); — [official geographical code (COG)](https://www.data.gouv.fr/fr/datasets/code-officiel-geographique-cog/) of the [INSEE](https://www.data.gouv.fr/fr/organizations/institut-national-de-la-statistique-et-des-etudes-economiques-insee/); — From [the nomenclature of French activities](https://www.data.gouv.fr/fr/datasets/nomenclature-dactivites-francaise-naf/) of the [INSEE](https://www.data.gouv.fr/fr/organizations/institut-national-de-la-statistique-et-des-etudes-economiques-insee/) — The solidarity fund aid database operated by the Directorate-General for Public Finance (DGFIP) for component 1. The data informs, at regional and departmental level, and for successive aid allocation components (component 1, component 2 and component 3 to come): — the number of aid granted; — the total amount of aid granted in euro; — the sector of activity of the beneficiary companies (via a section of the NAF code). — the legal category of beneficiary undertakings (via level II of the basic legal criteria of the law) — the effective class of beneficiary undertakings (concerns only undertakings affiliated to the general scheme) **To date, data from Component 1 of the Solidarity Fund are available.** The data is updated on a daily basis, which corresponds to the frequency of [dashboard update](https://aides-entreprises.data.gouv.fr/) and is available in CSV format. The dataset is intended to be enriched in the coming weeks.
