Registered natural sites in the Burgundy-Franche-Comté region
Description
These are the natural sites registered in the Burgundy-Franche-Comté region. The objectives of natural sites are the conservation or preservation of natural or built spaces of particular interest according to the criteria laid down by law (artistic, historical, scientific, legendary or picturesque). Sites can be registered or classified. The listing either concerns sites deserving of protection but not of sufficient interest to justify their classification, or constitutes a precautionary measure prior to classification. In addition, it can be a flexible management tool for the built-up parts of a classified site often waiting for an APAPA. Finally, it can also be a tool adapted to the preservation of small rural heritage in areas under little land pressure (mandatory demolishment permit).
