Territorial Energy Climate Plans prescribed by the Grenelle 2 Law in Burgundy
Description
Perimeter of the territories to embark on a Territorial Energy Climate Plan, in accordance with the Grenelle 2 Law (July 2010). A Territorial Energy Climate Plan (TEP) is a territorial sustainable development project whose purpose is the fight against climate change and the adaptation of the territory. The target outcome is a resilient, robust, adapted territory for the benefit of its population and activities. Established by the National Climate Plan and taken over by the Grenelle laws, they constitute a framework of commitment for the territories. PCETs are now mandatory for communities with more than 50,000 inhabitants, but the scale of the living area being the most appropriate for the implementation of ETCPs, project territories are also encouraged to adopt an ETCP on a voluntary basis. The so-called mandatory procedures are followed by DREAL Bourgogne, while those concerning voluntary PCETs are followed by the Regional Council and the ADEME.
