Sport Santé activities set up by the City of Antibes

Description

Since December 2016, the treating physician has been able to prescribe an Adapted Physical Activity (APA) for patients with long-term illnesses:cancer, disabling stroke, heart failure, coronary disease, diabetes, Parkinson's disease, respiratory failure, etc. This so-called Sport Santé scheme aims to improve the state of health of people with a long-term condition by engaging in appropriate, regular, safe and progressive physical activity on the recommendation of the treating doctor. The City of Antibes is committed to this, alongside the Antibes hospital and partners, through: - medical follow-up; - a liaison notebook to monitor developments; - an individualised physical activity programme; - regular interviews with a sports educator and/or a health professional; - Periodic reviews to adjust the programme as best as possible. This game lists the different activities offered by the City as part of the Health Pass on the one hand, and the Municipal School Handisport on the other hand.
