(ICPE) Authorised careers in Pays de la Loire
Description
In France, certain facilities operated by companies or local authorities in particular present hazards or disadvantages for the convenience of residents, health, safety, public health, agriculture, nature and environment protection, and the conservation of sites and monuments. For this reason, they are subject to a specific regulatory framework and may be inspected by State departments or by private bodies for the less sensitive installations subject to periodic inspection. To this end, these facilities are listed as ‘Environmental Protection Plants – ICPE’.

Origin
The data come from an extraction of the siiic application (information system for classified installations).
Geolocation is carried out by DREAL Pays de la Loire on the basis of the Lambert coordinates indicated in the extraction.
These coordinates can have several levels of precision:
* Common centroid: the coordinates were automatically entered by a point located in the centre of the municipality
* Postal address: the coordinates were determined by geocoding the address of the establishment
* Precise coordinates: the coordinates actually correspond to the location of the establishment (entered on orthophotographic background)
* Initial contact information: the coordinates have been retrieved from GIDIC and their accuracy is unknown.
The field “accuracy” or “Quality of geolocation” contains either of these values.
