Current Air Pollutants Measurements (API)
Description
Service for the supply of current air pollutant measurements from the air quality meter network of the Department of Labour Inspection. Measurements, made available in JSON form via API, shall be updated every hour and shall relate to the average hourly values of the pollutants recorded by the station meters over the last hour.
The metering network is a pan-Cypriot network comprising a total of 9 air quality measuring stations:
Nicosia — station (station code = 1) Nicosia — station (station code = 2) Limassol — station (station code = 3) Larnaca — station (station code = 5)
The stations shall record the values of the following pollutants:
No Ambient monoxide [μg/m³] (id = 38) NO2 Dioxide [μg/m³] (id = 8) NOx Ambient oxides [μg/m³] (id = 9) SO2 Sulphur dioxide [μg/m³] (id = 1) O3 Ozone [μg/m³] (id = 7) CO Carbon oxide [μg/m³] (id = 10) PM10 PM10 PM25
IMPORTANT NOTES: 1. Measurements that may appear below other (id) are not checked for accuracy and should therefore not be used. 2. Given that these are current values, as recorded by the network meters, in the event of failure of a meter it is possible that no values or incorrect values are recorded for some time and until it is repaired.
