In 2018, the annual flow of acquisitions of French nationality, with 110,014 new French, fell (– 3.7 %), as a result of a decrease in acquisitions of nationality by decree (– 15.0 %) and an increase in acquisitions of nationality per declaration (+ 12.2 %).
