Description
In 2017, 100 755 applications were registered with OFPRA, including 93 230 first applications (including accompanying minors) and 7,525 reviews (including 142 reopenings). 89,288 decisions, excluding accompanying minors, were taken, an increase of 27.0 % compared to 2016. OFPRA took 23,958 agreement decisions compared to 19,982 in 2016.
In 2017, the CNDA issued 47,814 decisions, an 11.3 % increase in the number of decisions compared to 2016.
In total, the number of decisions granting protection status (refugee and subsidiary protection, excluding accompanying minors) taken by OFPRA and CNDA stood at 31,964, an increase of 20.6 % compared to the total positive decisions of 2016.
