Observatoire EAU ET BIO — Pays de la Loire
Description
In conjunction with the Water Agency, a Water and Bio Observatory has been set up in the Pays de la Loire region. This work is the result of a collaboration between the Chamber of Agriculture of the Pays de la Loire and the CAB Pays de la Loire.
The objective of this observatory is to provide local supporting structures and the Water Agency with data on organic farming at the scale of territorial watershed diffuse pollution.
Sheets by territorial contract have been drawn up. They present the number of farms and the areas involved in organic farming, their evolution and their share in agriculture in the territory. The plant productions and animal flocks are detailed. The organic data comes from the ORAb, the Regional Observatory for Organic Agriculture.
