General rules on groundwater abstraction maximum abstraction.
The management area of Hunze and Aa’s Water Board divided into three different groundwater abstraction areas, see map.
* Area 1: up to 10 m³/h, but for high-sleeved crops and open-ground horticulture up to 60 m³/h.
* Area 2: up to 60 m³/h, if in the opinion of the board there is insufficient surface water of suitable quality.
* Area 3: up to 150 m³/h
