Target load classes Road superstructure Hamburg

Description

The data set contains the target load classes of the road superstructure for the Hamburg city road network. The dimensioning-relevant load B (sum of the weighted equivalent 10-t axle transitions in the period of use) for the determination of the target load classes was determined in accordance with method 1.2 of the guidelines for the standardization of the superstructure of traffic areas (RStO). With the exception of the slope factor fz, all other factors contained in the corresponding formula were determined from the data stored in the Hamburg Road Information Bank (e.g. average daily heavy traffic load, lane width, number of lanes). Only for the determination of the slope factors no network data are available, therefore a maximum longitudinal inclination ≤ 6 % was used for the calculations. Furthermore, the calculation could not be calculated in the widening areas of the junctions, as road widths and number of lanes are usually not consistent. For the line network connection, it was therefore necessary to close the intersection area between the calculation results sensibly. For construction-preparatory measures, the target load classes in the line representation are therefore only partially suitable, in nodes a detailed consideration is absolutely necessary. The data set expressly reflects only the target load class and not necessarily the actual load class currently available on the respective road.
