Accessibility to primary care in metropolitan France
Description
The data contain the value of the SCALe index accessibility index in shp format (projection: Lambert 93). This is a measure of accessibility to primary care (from the Base Permanente des Equipements of 2013) for each residential area (obtained by aggregation of the residential building of the BD TOPO® V2.1) of metropolitan France. It reads as an average distance (Euclidean in this first version of the index) to a set of facilities accessible to the population. This distance was weighted by the theoretical pressure on the equipment under consideration. The lower the value of the index, the higher the accessibility. This quantitative data has also been cut into tertile and decile.
