Description

According to the Act on Land Surveying and the Land Cadastre (VermKatG NRW), a parcel of land is a limited part of the earth's surface, which is listed in the Land Cadastre under a special number, the landmark. This smallest booking unit in the property register is enclosed by a boundary line. According to the VermKatG NRW, buildings are permanent, independently usable, covered structures, which are proven because of their importance in the property cadastre. They can be entered by humans and are suitable or intended to serve the protection of humans, animals, property or the production of economic goods. For all parcels of land, the property cadastre shows their shape (geometry including determining coordinates), location, use, size, development and other characteristics such as the location designation and the parcel identifier. In addition to the geometric features of a building, descriptive properties such as building function, year of construction, construction method and information on the location are also kept. In addition, the scope of data includes: Characteristic topography, actual use, soil estimation, relief/landform and public law and other stipulations. State of play of the data used: 01.09.2023.
