This service contains three topics: 1. Open one-way streets: This topic contains information on the one-way streets in Cologne’s city area and whether they are open for cycling in the opposite direction – 2. Cycling promotion measures: This topic contains information on implemented cycling promotion measures, which have been made publicly available via the Internet – 3. Bicycle roads: This topic contains information on the designated bicycle routes in Cologne’s city area. Bicycle roads are reserved for cycling. If other types of traffic are allowed to guests on the respective bicycle road and via the corresponding additional signage, this has been stored in the geodata service. The year of the establishment was also indicated-4. Cycling network: The cycling network forms a basis for all future planning in the road area. The basic principle in the green network is mixed traffic (tempo 30, traffic-calmed areas, bicycle roads, pedestrian zones/bicycle free, protective strips or cycle paths in the green). The basic principle in the yellow network is the separate guide from car traffic along the main roads (cycling lanes, protective strips or structural cycle paths).
