Collection of French websites related to audiovisual

Description

The legal deposit of the audiovisual web is the part of the legal deposit that the legislator has entrusted to the National Audiovisual Institute. It started in February 2009 and covers all sites of audiovisual media services, regardless of their mode of distribution (radio, cable, satellite, DTT, web - these include so-called on-demand audiovisual media services or SMAd) and online public communication sites "mainly devoted to the programmes" of the previous ones, whether they are active, inactive or disappeared. The fund is regularly updated and enriched with around 1000 sites per year. It supplements the funds held in the legal deposit of radio and television. These sites are identified using professional referencing tools and diligent monitoring work carried out by multimedia documentalists from the Institut National de l'Audiovisuel. According to their appearance, their life and their death, these sites are identified by a status (collected, not updated, death...). The pages of these sites are kept at regular intervals. It is thus possible to reconstruct the very history of the Web, which then becomes the subject of studies. The dataset contains the completeness of the sites collected and for each site data relating to the collection (frequency, borders...) and documentary data (type of sites, audiences, comments). The re-use of the personal data contained in the datasets published by Ina constitutes the processing of personal data as defined by Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27 April 2016 known as the General Data Protection Regulation (the ‘GDPR’) and Law No 78-17 of 6 January 1978 on data processing, files and freedoms, as amended, hereinafter together the ‘Data Protection Regulation’. The re-user is therefore subject to compliance with the legal framework deriving from the Data Protection Regulation in order for this re-use of personal data to be lawful. In any event, Ina declines all liability in the event of non-compliance by a re-user with the abovementioned rules.
