Three airports in the Paris region:
Roissy - Charles de Gaulle - Orly - Le Bourget
Traffic is concentrated on Roissy - Charles de Gaulle and Orly benefit from a measure that no longer allows night flights.
The Montmorency Valley is saturated with flights during the day, as well as at night, with consequences on the population that are unfortunately well known (noise and atmospheric pollution, sleep disorders, attention, etc.).
Proposal to spread traffic across the three airports by keeping planes high in the sky for as long as possible and to allow a dive landing (as in New York and London) with the following advantages:
-> air pollution dispersed at height,
-> limited noise pollution.
One Minister had partially acceded to this request by raising the approach threshold; This measure had been abandoned quickly despite the comfort provided to the inhabitants of the overflying areas.
