Thesis metadata, Bachelor of Engineering, ICT (taught in Finnish)
Description
Most of the theses of Turku University of Applied Sciences can be freely read in the Theseus, the joint thesis database of Finnish universities of applied sciences. This dataset contains metadata on the publications of the 2017-2022 Finnish degree programme in information and communications technology.
The dataset excludes all work whose metadata cannot be read in full.
The field supervisor id corresponds to the field of the English-taught ICT degree program dataset (=some of the instructors are the same in both datasets)
The dataset contains the following fields:
Total References - Number of all sources
Printed References - Number of printed sources
Internet Refrences - Number of electronic sources
Weak References - The number of weak sources (wikipedia, reddit, blog, youtube)
Pages - Number of pages
Total Word Count
Study Credits - Number of credits when graduating
Study Entitlement Days - Duration of study right in days
Grade - Thesis grade (1-5)
Supervisor ID - Supervisor ID
Keywords - Keywords and their number
Total Occurences - Total Number of Keywords
The theses produced as a group work are evaluated separately, and their metadata may appear several times.
