### Opening remarks In accordance with Decree No 2018-1350 of 28 December 2018 on the publication in electronic form of information on property values declared on the occasion of property transfers, this DVF file is now available in open data. The publication of these data meets the objective of transparency of land and property markets. **The DVF file contains personal data and the DGFiP draws your attention to the legal obligations arising therefrom:** • Article R112 A-3 of the Book of Tax Procedures provides that the use of these files must not allow the re-identification of data subjects, indirectly. • Data re-use should not allow indexing of data from external search engines. Please read the General Terms and Conditions of Use carefully. ### What is DVF? This dataset ‘Requests for land values’, published and produced by the Directorate-General for Public Finance, provides information on real estate transactions over the last five years in metropolitan France and the French overseas departments and territories, **with the exception of Alsace, Moselle and Mayotte**. The data contained are from notarial deeds and cadastral information ### Presentation of files The files corresponding to each vintage are made available in format.txt. over five years. They can be read by two software programs: • Notepad++ • Excel workbook or calc with the following separator: | (CTRL 6) An explanatory note accompanies the files, as well as the general conditions of use and an information document for purchasers. ⚠ Attention, the files are large. ### Updating files The files made available are updated every six months in April and October. Each update deletes and replaces all previously published files. ⚠ Point of attention: the files are fed by the data entered in the land registration services of the DGFiP and at each update new transactions are likely to be added in all vintages depending on the date of transfer.
