Digital height model Hamburg DGM 5H (hybrid)
Derived, comprehensive digital terrain model with a grid width of 5 meters and integrated ground breaking edges.
For the area of the Free and Hanseatic City of Hamburg (without the area of the Hamburg Wadden Sea), a laser scan (Airborne Laserscanning) was carried out in 2010. The data are available in position status 310 (ETRS89/UTM), with heights of normal height zero (NHN), according to DE_DHHN2016_NH. The accuracy of a single measuring point lies in clearly defined areas, such as on road surfaces, at approx. ± 7 cm. In areas of vegetation, especially areas in forest and shrub areas, accuracy is lower.
Among other things, the digital terrain model in the form of a regular 1 m grid is derived from these laser scan data, which is processed with the help of the photogrammetrically evaluated terrain break edges to the DGM 5H. Due to the annual spring imaging flights, the terrain model as well as the terrain break edges are checked and continued on a regular basis.
