Integration of the unemployed through economic activity
Description
Integration through economic activity (IAE) is an original mechanism: the State entrusts a socio-occupational support mission for unemployed people very far from employment to more than 3,700 private entities to which it paid EUR 846 million in grants in 2017. The European Social Fund (ESF) and local and regional authorities also contribute to their financing. 134000 people were on the path of integration into these structures at the end of 2017.
The Court makes a positive assessment of this operative part, which provides answers to the difficulties of insertion of the public concerned.
In order to improve its performance, it makes ten recommendations to the Ministry of Labour and Pôleemploi.
