Helios - Discover art in Vienna

Description

The Helios balloon takes you on a journey - discover artworks in a playful way and learn more about your city! Helios is intended to bring young city dwellers and visitors closer to works of art in public space in a playful way. The user jumps into the role of a hot air balloonist who can discover works of art with the compass. Helios moves away from conventional point-of-interest solutions and focuses on the "discovery" of nearby works of art. On site, the user is then rewarded with interesting information about the found work of art and thus learns more about Vienna in a playful way. For the app, the open data set "works of art in public space" is used. In addition, 40 photos of selected works of art were taken in the center of Vienna, which should make it easier for the user to find them.
