Cash declared at the border
Description
When entering or leaving the Republic of Latvia on the external border of the European Union, natural persons are obliged to declare cash funds if their amount is EUR 10 000 or more. This provision has been in force since 1 July 2006.
This file contains information from cash declarations submitted at customs control points and border crossing points of the Republic of Latvia at the external border of the European Union for the period from the beginning of the previous two years until the end of the last full month.
The file contains information on the number of cash declarations submitted and the total amount of cash declared (in euro) by transport routes, years, months, type of declaration, transport modes, customs control points, border crossing points.
