Description

The area of accession of the Cévennes National Park covers territories which are both biogeographical and culturally close to the heart. Its surface covers an area of 2 158 km². It is made up of the 113 municipalities which have acceded to the Charter of the National Park. In the accession area, the public institution accompanies sustainable development projects, compatible with the protection objectives and in a spirit of solidarity with the heart. The special regulation of the heart does not apply in the area of accession.
