Energy Performance Observatory

Description

The energy performance observatory collects data from the standardised summaries of thermal studies (RSET) submitted on [rt-batiment.fr](https://www.rt-batiment.fr/batiments-neufs/reglementation-thermique-2012/generation-des-attestations-rt2012.html) in order to obtain a certificate of conformity. Thermal studies are mandatory for all new buildings following the implementation of the 2012 thermal regulations (so-called RT2012). The available data is a summary of what is contained in the TFSRs. They are anonymised before being integrated into the observatory. The thermal studies submitted on the _rt-batiment_ site represent only a part of the new building projects carried out in France and in no way claim to be exhaustive. Since thermal studies are carried out at a very early stage, there may be several successive studies for the same construction project, depending on the development of the project management guidelines and the progress of the project. Finally, this dataset does not always say whether the project was actually carried out or not.
