ATKIS-DGM5 relief hibernation Saxony-Anhalt
Description
A digital terrain model (DGM) is a digital, numerical model of terrain heights and shapes. The DGM5 relief lobster is derived from the DGM1 with a lattice width of 1 m. In the resolution of the DGM5 relief hibernation, one pixel in the image corresponds to 25 m² on the earth’s surface. The (grey) value allocation for each grid point is based on the height difference of adjacent grid points and by lighting with an imaginary light source from northwest. The surface tint creates a spatial impression of the relative differences in altitude of the terrain. The slumber image does not provide any information about the absolute height.
