Description

Law enforcement equipment is at the heart of internal security issues. The fiscal effort in favour of it increased significantly from 2015 onwards to EUR 372 million in 2017. However, despite progress in pooling forces and in spite of increased resources, consideration of needs as well as the performance of purchasing and logistics functions can still be made more efficient in terms of organisation and operation. The Court makes 14 recommendations aimed at continuing the mutualisation and rationalisation effort already under way.
