Public bicycle stops in Turku city centre (on private lands) 2020
Description
The data consists of public bicycle stops in the centre of Turku, located on privately owned lands. A small part of the material has been omitted due to the prohibition on publishing the information. The data were collected by districts in May and June 2020, after which the data have not been updated. The material includes the street part of the stops (address), type of equipment, model, manufacturer, coordinates, rack category (quality class), number of racks, number of bike seats and a point to consider.
The study is a continuation of a study carried out by the City of Turku on bicycle stops located on the city’s lands. These studies will be continued in autumn 2020 by exploring informal bicycle parking places that could be good places for official stops in the future.
