Description
With the cross-border Interreg project "GEOHEAT-APP", VITO, Grontmij and TNO wanted to check the concrete feasibility of (deep) geothermal systems in the border region Flanders-Netherlands. One speaks of deep geothermal energy when the heat is extracted from layers deeper than 500 m. These maps are grid maps (grids) that represent the temperature (°C) of the top of the following 4 potential reservoirs in cells of 250m by 250m: Cretaceous, Triassic, Westphalian D and Dinantian.
