Regional contracts in the Pays de la Loire Region

Since 2004, the Pays de la Loire Region has been supporting the development of territories through a contractual arrangement for projects in living areas, whether coastal, rural or urban. Still in force in some territories, Single Territorial Contracts (STCs) are gradually giving way to New Regional Contracts (NRCs). The objectives of these new regional contracts are to continue to encourage and support the territorial initiative and the capacity of local elected representatives to act, as it is up to them to take the initiative for their projects and build them in conjunction with the Region in order to respond as closely as possible to the current and future needs of their inhabitants.
