Description
The OpenRadiation base is an open data collaborative database gathering measurements of ambient radioactivity in the environment made by citizens, as part of a participatory science program.
The data include:
— The data relating to each measure, with mandatory: dose rate (µSv/h), measurement start date and GPS location.
— The data accompanying the measurement, e.g. end date of measurement, characterisation of the environment, sensor model used, etc. For a more accurate description of the data, you can refer to the complete description of the data structure on [https://github.com/openradiation/openradiation#structure-of-the-data](https://github.com/openradiation/openradiation#structure-of-the-data)
— Beware, among the data are personal data as well as potentially photos taken by contributors: if the photos are reused to be displayed on a medium, they are credited with “CC-BY-SA-NC 4.0 username/OpenRadiation”
The database is available as a raw file (CSV updated once a day) or in real time via an API
