A forest fire started on 25/07/2022 at 13.13 in Algarve, in the freguesia of São Marcos da Serra (Silves / Faro District). The fire is spreading in a forest area of pine trees, cork oaks and shrub and the combat involves more than 600 firemen and 200 vehicles. The area already affected is roughly 1000 ha.
