Group layer: Climate analysis - Climate map

In the Climate Analysis NRW, the climatic situation in NRW is recorded, presented and the (thermally) polluted settlement areas (= impact areas) are identified and demarcated from corresponding compensation areas and evaluated. The map shows the climatic tops (= microclimatically uniform spatial units) according to VDI guideline 3787, sheet 1. The climatic tops were automatically derived from the land use, the development and the degree of sealing. Climate tops provide clues in which areas nocturnal overheating can occur during autochthonous weather conditions.
