Description
In the tree cadastre, all urban trees in the street area are recorded, which are managed or maintained by the Grün Stadt Zürich. The tree cadastre is supplemented by the fruit tree inventory as well as trees of selected public green spaces and private trees.
Purpose: The tree cadastre is used to manage the trees in public spaces. It is aid for the care of these trees and for the replacement Trees. In addition, it is an important information basis for planners who want to orient themselves about the existing tree sites. Interested parties should be able to provide up-to-date and precise information about tree species and tree locations at any time.
