Sources (display service)
Description
The viewing service Sources shows natural groundwater outflows, preferably along the larger eskers in Sweden. The product contains information on the location, flow, aquifer type (geological environment) and, to a certain extent, water quality, etc. of the sources. Sources can be of great importance for specific biotopes and in many cases have a great cultural and historical significance. The information can be used, among other things, to select sampling points for chemical characterisation of groundwater or for environmental monitoring.
