Roadside advertising

Description

Notifications of roadside advertising licences by ELY Centres. If the location of an advertisement for road users is outside the local detailed plan area, the advertisement subject to the notification obligation (permanent roadside advertisement) must be notified to the Centre for Economic Development, Transport and the Environment and receive a permissive decision before the advertisement is placed. A permissive decision on the placement of an advertisement may be made if the advertisement does not endanger road safety, does not cause harm to road maintenance and is as adaptable as possible to the environment. In addition, the location and layout of the advertisement must meet the requirements of the Roadside Advertising Regulation. The centralised permit service of the Centres for Economic Development, Transport and the Environment issues permits related to advertisements. The need to update the information arises on the basis of permit decisions. The information is maintained centrally. The target category is versioning. The information covers all state-owned road sections. Also rafts and ramps.
