The Alberta Short-Term Employment Forecast outlines projected labour market imbalances over a three-year period, evaluates the labour market conditions in each of the 515 occupations under National Occupational Classification (NOC) 2021, and categorizes occupations into five distinct groups: notable shortage, mild shortage, relatively balanced, mild surplus and notable surplus.
