Vegetation Index (NDVI) of Andalusia. Seasonal average, 1993-2010 (NOAA AVHRR)
Description
NDVI seasonal historical mean calculated from NOAA satellite images captured by the Advanced Very High Resolution Radiometer (AVHRR) sensor. The AVHRR sensor collects information in 5 spectral bands: visible, near-infrared and 3 in thermal infrared, all with a resolution of 1000 m. The 2010 NDVI seasonal historical average is calculated from the historical monthly averages, grouping December 93-09, January and February 93-10 in winter; March, April and May 93-10 in spring; June, July and August 93-10 in summer; September, October and November from 93-10 in autumn.
