Description
Web map service (representation service) for the Thuringian area reference system IACS data field block
The data set contains the eligible field blocks and landscape features (reference parcels) from Thuringia, which are published as open spatial data. The field block is then a continuous agricultural area of one or more farmers surrounded by permanent borders. In the LPIS, each field block has a unique identification (FBI) with a land cover/land use categorisation, also known as a system for the identification of agricultural parcels in accordance with Article 2 of Regulation (EU) 2022/1172. Landscape features as elements of the agricultural area that contribute to the protection of biodiversity, the conservation of habitats or species pursuant to Article 4(b)(i) of Regulation (EU) 2021/2015 are listed in Thuringia as an extra field block. The reference parcels shall be updated on a monthly basis.
