Sensitive Natural Spaces of Vienna
Description
The Departmental Plan of Sensitive Natural Areas of the Vienna Department (2010) identified 20,000 hectares of natural areas that the Department intends to preserve by intervening with the support of project leaders engaged in the preservation and valorisation of sites or directly on the 40 most remarkable spaces, i.e. about 1,200 hectares. The implementation of the action programme in these territories involves local actors, elected representatives, user associations, owners.
