SH4 Biotope mapping of field woods
Description
The field logs were recorded and demarcated by aerial image analysis.
The biotope type is only assigned in two digits (= HG), as no recording in the terrain
this is what is required for differentiation in the three-digit biotope code.
The following requirements apply to the address of the field logs:
• Areas mainly covered with wood-like plants, which are not covered by the
serve agricultural production
• With a size of at least 50 square meters up to a maximum of 2,000 square metres
(“Woods” according to base DLM are not recorded < 1.000 m², i.e. that field woods
> 50 m² < 1.000 m² to be recorded manually according to the digitising standards).
• Not directly adjacent to the forest
• Predominantly covered with trees and/or shrubs, including not
correspondingly overgrown sub-sections (e.g. dry grass)
• No linear structure or on average wider than 15 m
