Young people in prov., AWBZ and Zvw-funded youth care; region, 2011-2014
Description
This table provides regional information on the number of young people under the age of 18 who made use of provincially funded youth care or curative (medical) mental health (GHZ) funded by the Zvw in the year under review, or have an indication that entitles to AWBZ-funded disabled care and long-term mental health care. This concerns forms of care that are covered by the Youth Act from 2015.
In exceptional cases, the provincially funded youth care continues until the age of 23. In principle, young people with an indication for youth care actually make use of this youth care. However, there may be reasons why the indication is not (yet) redeemed, for example because there are waiting lists.
The classification by municipality was not made on the basis of the registration in the Municipal Basic Administration (GBA) but on the basis of the actual residence of the young person on 1 January of the reporting year or at the time of the first registration in the DPA. The residence principle as applied in the Youth Act which entered into force from 2015 onwards was based on the principle of residence.

All figures in the table are final.

None. This table has been discontinued. Figures on youth care from 2015 onwards will be published in separate tables (see paragraph 3).
