Description
The Satellite Housing Account (CSL) provides a comprehensive and structured account of the housing expenditure of all economic actors. The result is a consolidation of a large number of data sources. This data is freely accessible and also made available in an interactive visualisation tool.
This tool was designed by the SDES (Service for Data and Statistical Studies) which provides the permanent secretariat of the Housing Accounts Commission.
The technology used is RShiny (development with RStudio).
A method note presenting the account structure is available on the SDES website. It documents the establishment of the production sectors of housing services, the
sources of data mobilised as well as estimation methods.
