Number of hirings per EPA code and ROME code

Description

This dataset counts, by ROME code and by APE code, the number of pre-employment declarations (DPAE). > Attention: a DPAE is not necessarily followed by a hiring (e.g. withdrawal of the employee). Some hirings are not the subject of a DPAE. > Attention: some DPAEs may be completed late and not accounted for. The EPA code taken into account is the EPA code of the institution that carried out the DPAE. The NAF 2008 is used. The ROME code taken into account is the main ROME code declared to Pôleemploi. The ROMEv3 nomenclature of 21 September 2015 is used. > Attention: A hiring for an employee who did not report to Pôleemploi is not counted. This introduces significant statistical bias. CDI, CDD and acting assignments are counted. Only contracts with a term of more than or equal to one month are recorded. The number of hirings includes the period from March 2, 2016 to March 31, 2017 (approximately 13 months). In compliance with industrial secrecy, EPA codes with fewer than 5 companies are excluded from this dataset. For example, the APE code 5122Z (Space Transport) has only 2 companies registered in INSEE’s SIRENE database (Arianespace and the Turkmenistan National Space Agency). The encoding of the file is UTF-8, the format is CSV with for headers: * ‘ROME’: primary ROME code of hired persons * ‘ROME_label’: label of the ROME code * ‘APE700’: EPA Code (NAF) of the employing establishment * ‘APE700_label’: EPA Code Label (NAF) * ‘nb_ Hiring’: number of hirings
