Description
The display service Geophysical aerial measurements, gamma radiation potassium shows the distribution of potassium in the uppermost part of the bedrock or soil types. The radioactive decay used for the calculation of the potassium content is the gamma radiation from the decay of potassium-40 to argon-40. Potassium-40 accounts for 0.0118 % of naturally occurring potassium. The potassium content is expressed as becquerel per kg (Bq/kg) and as a percentage (%).
